A/C Chemo Done!

Tuesday was Angie's last dose of the A/C type of chemo. YAYYYY!!! We are so happy to have that milestone conquered!  Now the 2 week recuperation starts over. She has become a fast learner of tricks, resources, and ideas to help the symptoms she experiences. So many other cancer survivors and nurses are helpful at sharing their ideas and process. Now she is taking it easy and staying home to protect from any germs.  The doctor gave her the option to skip a week but she was eager to keep going on this path. So her next treatment will be Tuesday, June 29th. This will be the Taxol type of chemo which is a lower intensity chemo. The idea is to do 12 treatments each week. However, it will depend on how she's doing. As she continues it starts to be more draining and harder to bounce back from. There are also some side effects that if she starts experiencing will end the treatment sooner. Sometime in July the doctor will order a scan to check on how will the treatment is working on the

Mid-week update

Angie is doing ok 1 week after 3rd chemo treatment. Each day is starting to get a little better/stronger. This time she has experienced a lot of tiredness and is taking the days slow. This treatment 3/4 of the A/C has been a little harder to bounce back from. But if the trend continues this week usually gets better again. It's a long road--but praising God for the small joys in life. Thank you for continuing to pray, encourage, and provide for needs. We all appreciate the support from everyone! -Julie-
