A/C Chemo Done!

Tuesday was Angie's last dose of the A/C type of chemo. YAYYYY!!! We are so happy to have that milestone conquered!

Now the 2 week recuperation starts over. She has become a fast learner of tricks, resources, and ideas to help the symptoms she experiences. So many other cancer survivors and nurses are helpful at sharing their ideas and process. Now she is taking it easy and staying home to protect from any germs.

The doctor gave her the option to skip a week but she was eager to keep going on this path. So her next treatment will be Tuesday, June 29th. This will be the Taxol type of chemo which is a lower intensity chemo. The idea is to do 12 treatments each week. However, it will depend on how she's doing. As she continues it starts to be more draining and harder to bounce back from. There are also some side effects that if she starts experiencing will end the treatment sooner. Sometime in July the doctor will order a scan to check on how will the treatment is working on the cancer.

Praise:

A/C 4 doses are DONE!

Prayer Request:

-Build back her immunity quickly so she can have more good days.

-Ability to manage side effects and stay healthy.

- Pray the treatment is having BIG results against the cancer!

  1. Thank for your letter today with an update. We did receive an email earlier and we responded on Jim’s email that day. You are in our prayers and we think about you and Jim every day. We know you are a fighter and God is with you every step of the way. We love you! John and Bev
